Holy Ghost emerged from a period of intense inner confrontation, when emotions such as anger, guilt, and shame seemed to return despite every attempt to move beyond them. I found myself repeatedly asking why certain emotions continue to resurface, and whether their persistence might carry a deeper purpose.
The work draws from my personal interpretation of the idea of the Holy Ghost—not simply as a divine presence, but as something that remains with us and compels us towards deeper self-examination. Perhaps some experiences do not disappear because they still have something to reveal, becoming part of the process through which we understand ourselves.
The interplay of green, blue, black, and white reflects the movement between emotional heaviness and clarity. The contrasting shades create a space where darkness and light coexist, mirroring the complexity of confronting emotions that are difficult to accept but impossible to ignore.
Holy Ghost ultimately reflects on the possibility that even the emotions we perceive as negative may have a place in our journey. What initially feels like an unwanted presence can sometimes become a catalyst for introspection, acceptance, and a deeper understanding of the self.
Each original artwork is accompanied by a signed Certificate of Authenticity (COA), documenting the artwork’s title, medium, dimensions, year of creation, and artist’s signature.
