Description
Oil on Canvas | 36″ × 35″ | Original Artwork
Bubbles was inspired by a simple moment during a morning run — watching a group of children skating and noticing how completely absorbed they were in the activity.
The painting explores that fleeting feeling of being so immersed in a moment that the world around you seems to fall silent. The expansive, intentionally blank canvas creates this sense of stillness, leaving the figures suspended within an almost weightless space.
Against the quiet expanse, flashes of lime green, pink, red, yellow, and blue bring the scene to life. The bright colours appear almost like small bursts of energy, filling the otherwise restrained landscape with movement and playfulness.
The minimal composition is deliberate. The empty space is not merely a background, but an essential part of the painting — a visual representation of the quiet that exists when we become completely absorbed in what we are doing.
At 36″ × 35″, Bubbles is a contemplative yet playful statement piece, bringing a sense of lightness, movement, and quiet joy to a contemporary interior.
